As you can see, not too impressive. Life happens. I'm coaching xc this time of year and that gets in the way. Meetings at school. Blah blah blah. You get the idea. The 39mile week I was fine with. That was meant to be a recovery week. Following that was my 51mile week, where I got a very nasty cold that wiped me out. The last 2 weeks have been o.k. During week 3 post Pisgah, I had 2 good m.p. runs, which were good confidence boosters. Last week, week 4, I had a great 23 miler ending the last 5miles in 27:39. Maybe, just maybe, I'm snapping out of this funk and I'll be ready to run a great marathon at Cape Cod in two weeks. We'll see. I'd still love to go sub 2:30, but I'd be happy with anything under 2:34:32 (my p.r.). I'm getting married this Saturday which should be fun and will force me to taper. Hey Cape Cod, ready or not, here I come!!
